editorial illustration

I designed an illustration to accompany an article in an editorial setting. I created a whimsical and child-like illustration to pair with the article, which discussed the importance of children playing with random objects. I decided to tell the story of a child playing in a carboard box and imagining it is a submarine, while his actual submarine toy lay discarded on the ocean floor.
