Vine to vessel is an educational wine tasting tour that I designed collateral for. The purpose of the project was to create educational signage and a brochure that would inform tasters about the grape-growing and wine-making process at Law Estate Wines.

map design

I was tasked to design a large outdoor map of the vineyards at Law Estate. The map design is placed underneath the depicted hill, with color fields to delineate each type of grape grown. On the right side are detailed illustrations of each of the 12 varietals grown, each with their own distinct leaf shape, cluster formation, and color variation. Charts beneath each grapes visualize the flavor profile of each of the grapes. 

Because the tasting is a walking tour around the winery, I decided to create a travel-journal style booklet for guests to take with them. It highlights each of the 6 segments of the journey, illustrating the "landmarks" of each stop, and outlining the wines that guests will be tasting. The colors on the varietal pie charts of each wine match those on the map to visually link how the grapes go from the vineyard to the glass. The illustrations were created in sketch-like style, with hatching to match Law's primary brand element of parallel lines.
